Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing maintenance and persistence in URLS
- Managing the load of the CDL Shared Cataloging Program records we receive from UCSD
- Cataloging web sites and databases & coordinating the cataloging of e-serials and e-books with other sections
- Synchronization of ERDb and the OPAC, by migration of data from Voyage
- Advising staff involved in digital library project work on metadata
- For selected digital library projects, making controlled vocabulary assignments to digital resources and matching names to authority files
- Providing mapping between metadata schema
