We look forward to an informative and thought-provoking week!
The Preconference will explore the role of special collections in an increasingly digital world, focusing on questions that both excite and vex special collections librarians and archivists. Five plenary sessions will address aspects of special collections in the digital environment, including intellectual property issues, the use of digitized holdings in the classroom, and mass digitization of rare book collections. The final plenary session will be a wrap-up of the entire conference.
