Committee Charge, per the by-laws:

Section 13. Peer Review Documentation Workshop Committee

a. The Committee shall consist of three to five members.
b. The Committee shall present an annual workshop to provide assistance to librarians in the preparation of their peer review documentation.
c. As requested, the Committee shall present a workshop to provide assistance to review initiators in the preparation of their peer review documentation.

The annual Peer Review Documentation Workshop was held on Tuesday, December 11, 2001 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, in GSE&IS Building, Room 111. All eligible librarians were invited to attend. The invitation to the workshop included solicitation of questions from librarians about general documentation preparation and specific documents.

As charged, the committee developed a workshop for Review Initiators, the first in years. The 2001 Review Initiator Workshop was held on December 18, 2001, from 12-2 pm, in the YRL Administrative Conference Room. All Review Initiators for the 2001-2002 peer review cycle were invited to participate.

The Committee hosted the workshop and two experienced Review Initiators, Allison Bunting and Bob Bellanti, presented tips for review initiators and moderated conversation and discussion. Both workshops were well attended and from feedback, very well received.

The Committee is compiling a report and other documentation to pass to next year's committee to assist it with workshops for the 2002-2003 review cycle.
