The LAUC-LA Executive Board and the Peer Review Task Force are co-sponsoring an open session to discuss the proposed LAUC-LA bylaw revisions. Barbara Rudich, Chair of the Committee on Professional Governance, will send out a copy of the proposed Bylaw revisions to the membership next week, after many of us return from the ALA Mid-winter meeting.  We will also provide the membership with an update on the preparations for our special election.

Based on comments and concerns voiced at the the December 2004 open session,  the Peer Reveiw Task Force felt that it would be helpful if we released a copy of the proposed revised Call to the membership. Prior to the January 27th meeting, The PRTF will post a copy of the INCOMPLETE draft (a work in progress which does not yet include the appointment procedures) on the  Peer Peview Task Force LAUC-LA Communication website: http://libteams/pr/lauc/.
