| You are cordially invited to a LAUC-LA Brown Bag session on:
The UC strategic plan for libraries and scholarly information
Date:
Time:
Venue:
In preparation for the very important brown bag session, the LAUC-LA Committee on Library Plans and Policies would appreciate hearing from you so we'll be sure to include your questions in the discussion. Please send all questions to Esther Grassian <estherg@library.ucla.edu> by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 20.
Refreshments will be served at the October 25 brown-bag session.
In case you can't make the time to read the entire SOPAG report on "Systemwide Strategic Directions for Libraries and Scholarly Information", you could simply look at the brief overview on the webpage, containing abstracts of each of the five core strategies adopted by the ULs: 1. collection management and coordination; 2. shared services and infrastructure; 3. shared facilities; 4. scholarly communication; and 5. persistent access to digital information.:
SOPAG is actively seeking feedback and input from LAUC on this and other important issues. Your comments will help inform the LAUC-LA participants at the LAUC Statewide Assembly which will feature a program with SOPAG.
