Select an index (Title or caption; Date; Photo ID) and enter a search word or phrase; e.g. Pasadena, Watts, Hollywood, protest, Bradley, Kennedy, oil, airport, actor, film, freeway. To find photos by date select the Date index and enter a year (e.g. 1966). To find photos from a given decade simply enter the first three numbers of the year (e.g. 196 for the 1960s). To find photos by their ID enter as much of the number as you know. You may use the percent sign (%) as a wildcard to represent a string of any length.
